## wiring.get_code_version()


Return the sha1 hexdigest of the schema's columns and rules, which `dd.asset` uses as the asset's code version.


Usage

``` python
wiring.get_code_version(schema)
```


## Parameters


`schema: type[dy.Schema]`  
The schema to hash. Each column's name and dtype, then each rule's name, severity and expression.


## Returns


`str`  
A 40-character hex string, to pass to `@dg.asset(code_version=...)`.
