## TokenCredential


A token credential returns an access token on demand, in the shape `azure.core.credentials` defines.


Usage

TokenCredential()
```


An `azure-identity` credential satisfies it with no dependency on `azure-core`. A backend uses the credential unchanged and calls [get_token](TokenCredential.md#epistole.TokenCredential.get_token) before each request, so the credential should cache its own tokens. See ADR-0011.
