wiring.get_code_version()

Return the sha1 hexdigest of the schema’s columns and rules, which dd.asset uses as the asset’s code version.

wiring.get_code_version(schema)

Parameters

schema: type[dy.Schema]

The schema to hash. Each column’s name and dtype, then each rule’s name, severity and expression.

Returns

str

A 40-character hex string, to pass to @dg.asset(code_version=...).
